What We Do...
(and why we're special!)
Our Communications Director will coordinate dates with your individual availability and then make the reservation at one of the following museums. We do all the work of booking the tour and scheduling gallery times. We do not provide transportation. The only thing you need to bring is yourself!
1. Metropolitan Museum of Art
2. The Met Cloisters
3. Cooper Hewitt Design Museum
We are always looking to expand and further our students' accessibility to more museums. If you would like to visit another museum, let us know and we will try and accommodate you!
Our Curriculum Directors will write a tour based on what you are teaching in the classroom. Their objective is to connect the students to the artwork that they will be seeing. Through various cultures, styles, and periods, the tours will aim to engage your students and link the classroom to the world around them
Our Director of Outreach will put you in touch with your guide, a undergraduate student studying Art History or Education from Barnard College and Columbia University.
The morning of your tour, your guide will meet you at the museum in the Education Center and then your tour will begin!
